Nicklin Transit Packaging Acquires Geddes Packaging to Strengthen Corrugated Packaging Operations
WEDNESBURY, UK – Nicklin Transit Packaging has strengthened its position in the UK packaging market through the acquisition of Geddes Packaging, a well-established supplier of timber and corrugated packaging solutions.
The acquisition brings Aldridge-based Geddes Packaging, which employs around 40 people, into The Nicklin Group. The move is expected to enhance Nicklin’s manufacturing capabilities, broaden its customer reach, and increase its market share within the timber and corrugated packaging sectors.
Nicklin Transit Packaging, a fourth-generation family-owned business based in Wednesbury, currently employs around 130 people and serves customers across a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, engineering, construction, logistics, and industrial manufacturing.
Geddes Packaging has built a strong reputation over many years for delivering high-quality timber and corrugated packaging products, making it a strategic fit for Nicklin’s long-term growth plans.
