Romaco India Showcases Blister Packaging and Tableting Expertise at Hyderabad Open House

Romaco India hosted a three-day Open House at its Experience Centre in Hyderabad from 9 to 11 July 2026, bringing together pharmaceutical industry professionals to explore the company’s latest processing and packaging technologies. The event featured live demonstrations of the Kilian S 710 Prime tablet press and the Noack NBL 400 blister packaging line, highlighting Romaco’s capabilities in blister packaging, cartoning and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The Hyderabad Experience Centre, which includes a spare parts warehouse, equipment showroom and process technology laboratory, serves as a technical hub for pharmaceutical manufacturers seeking expertise in granulation, tableting, coating and packaging technologies. It also provides training, product development support and technical services for the Indian pharmaceutical industry.

As a Sales & Service Centre of the Romaco Group, Romaco India combines global pharmaceutical processing and packaging technologies with local engineering expertise to help manufacturers meet international production standards while strengthening their competitiveness in global markets.

The Open House attracted 86 senior executives and technical specialists from 24 pharmaceutical companies, representing operations, production, engineering, project management, quality assurance, procurement, supply chain and commercial functions. Many participants attended with specific production and packaging requirements, enabling Romaco’s experts to provide tailored technical consultations.

A major highlight of the event was the Kilian S 710 Prime tablet press, capable of producing up to 1.02 million tablets per hour with up to 85 press stations. Visitors also witnessed more than 30 live demonstrations of the Noack NBL 400 blister packaging line, showcasing machine operation, product flow, format changeovers, line integration and overall production efficiency.

Designed for medium batch production, the NBL 400 can produce up to 400 blisters and 200 cartons per minute. The system combines a rotary sealing blister machine with a continuous-motion cartoner and can package tablets and capsules in various formats. Its user-friendly operation, quick format changes, low investment requirements and reduced unit packaging costs make it a flexible solution for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Commenting on the event, Sanjeev Nimkar, Managing Director of Romaco India, said the Open House received strong customer participation and positive feedback. He noted that the event demonstrated how Romaco combines advanced pharmaceutical processing and blister packaging technologies with local service, training and technical support to help Indian pharmaceutical companies improve productivity and achieve faster returns on investment.
