Jamestown Container Expands New York Presence with Syracuse Corrugated Box Acquisition
Falconer, New York, June 2, 2026 – Jamestown Container Companies has announced the acquisition of Syracuse Corrugated Box Corp., marking another strategic step in the company’s expansion across New York State. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition strengthens Jamestown Container’s ability to serve customers throughout Central New York while reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality corrugated packaging solutions, responsive customer service, and innovative packaging products.
Joseph R. Palmeri, Chief Operating Officer of Jamestown Container, described the acquisition as a significant milestone for the company.

“Syracuse Box was founded in 1969 by my father, Richard Wilde, and his business partner, Wyman Caruthers. The company has been an important part of our family for decades.
