Acquisition of three manufacturing sites will strengthen Dunapack Packaging’s presence in Southeast Europe, pending regulatory approval.
Dunapack Packaging Hellas, a member of the Prinzhorn Group, has signed an agreement to acquire El Pack’s corrugated packaging business in Greece. The proposed transaction includes El Pack’s manufacturing facilities located in Patras, Kapandriti, and Thiva, reinforcing Dunapack Packaging’s strategic expansion in Southeast Europe.
The acquisition is expected to enhance the company’s regional manufacturing capabilities by combining El Pack’s established local expertise with Dunapack Packaging’s integrated business model and extensive network. The move is aimed at strengthening customer service across Greece and neighboring markets while supporting the group’s long-term growth strategy.
Upon completion of the transaction, approximately 250 employees from El Pack are expected to join Dunapack Packaging, further expanding the company’s workforce and operational capabilities in the region.
The acquisition remains subject to regulatory approval and is anticipated to be finalized during the second half of 2026.
