TRG Packaging and Display Solutions has announced the acquisition of Columbia Container, a move that strengthens TRG’s operations in the Mid-Atlantic region and expands its packaging and display manufacturing capabilities.
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Columbia Container is a full-service corrugated manufacturer serving national, regional and local customers. The company produces a wide range of packaging solutions, including standard corrugated boxes and litho-mounted point-of-purchase displays, and is recognised for its customer service, technical expertise and reliable delivery performance.
According to Kevin Miller, the acquisition will help TRG improve operational efficiency, increase production flexibility and enhance responsiveness to customer requirements across the Mid-Atlantic market. He noted that the addition of Columbia Container also brings a highly experienced team with strong execution capabilities into TRG’s growing network.
Brendan Moynihan said joining forces with TRG would provide the company with greater operational scale and expanded resources, enabling it to better support customers while maintaining the service standards and agility for which it is known.
The existing leadership team at Columbia Container will continue to manage the business, ensuring continuity for customers and employees during the transition. Through TRG’s nationwide network, the company will gain access to additional manufacturing resources and broader packaging capabilities while retaining its customer-focused approach.
With more than 100 years of industry experience, TRG Packaging and Display Solutions operates over 30 facilities across the United States. The company manufactures a wide variety of packaging products, ranging from industrial corrugated shipping boxes to premium graphic packaging, retail displays, packaging supplies and fulfilment solutions.
