Spectal Pack Launches SpectalEdge to Drive Digital Printing Innovation in Packaging
Bengaluru, India: Spectal Pack has launched SpectalEdge, a new annual platform dedicated to advancing innovation in digital printing and sustainable packaging solutions. The inaugural SpectalEdge – The Packaging Innovation Summit, held in Bengaluru in partnership with HP and Redington, brought together more than 150 industry leaders to explore the future of packaging technology.
The summit highlighted key trends shaping the packaging industry, including digital printing, sustainability, personalization, and the increasing demand for flexible packaging solutions. Industry experts discussed how digital printing technologies are enabling brands to accelerate product launches, reduce material waste, and improve production efficiency.
Designed as a collaborative platform, SpectalEdge aims to connect brands, technology providers, converters, and industry stakeholders to encourage innovation across the packaging value chain. The initiative also seeks to help startups and MSMEs gain access to advanced packaging technologies that offer greater flexibility, faster turnaround times, and scalable production.
Priyesh Dalmia, Co-Founder of Spectal Pack, said the platform is intended to bring together innovators and technology leaders to shape the future of packaging in India. Pawan Chauhan, Country Business Manager, HP Industrial and Inkjet Business Solutions, HP India, said India’s packaging sector is experiencing rapid transformation driven by personalization, shorter product life cycles, and sustainability requirements. He added that HP Indigo digital printing technologies are helping converters and brands respond with greater flexibility, improved efficiency, and lower waste, while supporting Spectal Pack’s efforts to advance digital flexible packaging.
Ramesh K. S, Vice President – Digital Printing Group at Redington, emphasized that the future of packaging will be shaped by digitalization, sustainability, and industry collaboration. He said the partnership with Spectal Pack and HP will help businesses access advanced technologies and accelerate innovation across the packaging sector.
As part of the summit, participants visited Spectal Pack’s manufacturing facility, where live demonstrations showcased the company’s latest digital printing and finishing technologies.
