Avery Dennison Highlights Advanced Labeling and Traceability Solutions at InnoPack Pharma Confex 2026

Avery Dennison showcased its latest pharmaceutical labeling and packaging innovations at the 15th InnoPack Pharma Confex 2026, held on 18–19 June 2026 at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai.

At the event, the company presented a range of solutions designed to enhance product security, traceability, authentication, and patient safety across the pharmaceutical supply chain. The showcase featured advanced functional materials, RFID-enabled technologies, and authentication solutions aimed at supporting the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.

According to Avery Dennison, pharmaceutical packaging is increasingly moving beyond its traditional role of product identification and is becoming a strategic component of the healthcare ecosystem. The company emphasized that modern packaging solutions can help improve supply-chain visibility, strengthen product authentication, and support patient-centric healthcare initiatives.

In recognition of its contributions to packaging innovation, Avery Dennison received an award in the Advanced Packaging Material category at InnoPack Pharma Confex 2026.

Commenting on the occasion, Jitesh Mehta, Senior Director – Marketing, South Asia, Avery Dennison, said that pharmaceutical companies are increasingly viewing packaging as a strategic tool for enhancing traceability, improving patient safety, and enabling greater transparency across supply chains. He added that InnoPack Pharma Confex provides an important platform for engaging with industry stakeholders and discussing the changing expectations surrounding pharmaceutical packaging.

The two-day conference brought together pharmaceutical manufacturers, packaging companies, technology providers, and industry experts to explore emerging trends shaping the sector.
