Progroup’s youngest corrugated sheetfeeder plant in the northern Italian city of Cessalto successfully started regular operation. With this cutting-edge plant, the family-run business from Landau i. d. Pfalz, Germany, continues its growth strategy and sustainably strengthens its position on the European market.
The highly automated plant is geared towards maximum efficiency and quality. With an operating speed of 400 metres per minute and a working width of 3.35 metres, it produces Next Generation® corrugated board sheets with particularly low grammages – sustainably and with a focus on resource conservation. The plant’s annual capacity of about 200,000 tonnes and its finalisation within the planned deadlines and budget underlines the project’s high efficiency and reliability.
