Graphic Packaging Names Larry Venturelli as New Board Chair
Graphic Packaging Holding Company, a leading producer of sustainable consumer packaging made from renewable and recycled materials, has appointed Larry Venturelli as Chairman of its Board of Directors following the company’s annual shareholder meeting.
Venturelli succeeds Philip Martens, who is retiring from the board after more than a decade of service. Martens served as board chair since 2016 and played a key role in guiding the company through a period of significant growth and transformation.
A member of Graphic Packaging’s board since 2016, Venturelli brings extensive leadership experience in manufacturing, finance, and consumer products. During his tenure on the board, he has contributed to several key committees, including audit, governance, and compensation.
Prior to joining Graphic Packaging, Venturelli held senior executive positions at Whirlpool Corporation, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, where he helped drive operational excellence and long-term business growth.
Graphic Packaging President and CEO Robbert Rietbroek praised the appointment, highlighting Venturelli’s deep industry knowledge and leadership expertise. He expressed confidence that the new chairman will help guide the company’s continued growth strategy and strengthen its position as a leader in sustainable consumer packaging.
