Clean Cult has launched a four-variety castile soap range in 32 oz paper-based cartons, expanding its product portfolio with a focus on sustainable packaging and consumer-friendly design.
Clean Cult, a home cleaning products brand known for its paper-based packaging, has introduced a new castile soap range designed for multiple household and personal care applications. Announced on October 22, 2026, the launch marks the company’s expansion into a new product category, with four varieties: Juniper Sandalwood, Fresh Peppermint, Wild Lavender and Unscented.
The new product comes in 32 oz cartons and is priced at $14.99. Its concentrated, plant-based formula contains coconut oil, olive oil, vitamin E and aloe vera, offering more than 20 potential uses, including dishwashing, laundry, body cleansing and general household cleaning. The packaging also provides clear instructions on dilution and usage to help consumers understand the product’s versatility.
A key feature of the launch is its paper-based carton packaging, which aligns with Clean Cult’s ongoing efforts to reduce reliance on conventional plastic packaging. The company has incorporated bright colours, bold graphics and retro-inspired design elements to distinguish the range from traditional castile soap products. The carton also includes usage guidance, combining product information with an accessible visual presentation.
According to Ryan Lupberger, CEO and co-founder of Clean Cult, the launch aims to make castile soap more accessible through easier-to-understand instructions, competitive pricing and versatile applications. It also represents a broader step in Clean Cult’s strategy to expand its product portfolio and retail presence.
The product is currently available through Amazon and at Sprouts, with plans to expand distribution to thousands of additional retail locations in 2027. The company also reported reaching profitability in the first quarter of 2026 and securing additional funding to support product development and retail expansion.
Founded in 2019, Clean Cult focuses on reducing plastic waste through recyclable paper-based cartons and refillable packaging solutions. Its portfolio includes soaps, detergents and household cleaning products, reflecting the company’s continued emphasis on alternative packaging formats.
