Sprintpackage Expands to 20,000-Square-Metre Facility, Triples Production Capacity
Guangzhou Shangpin Packaging Products Co., Ltd. (Sprintpackage), a paper tube supplier and integrated manufacturer focused on sustainable packaging, has expanded its manufacturing footprint with a new 20,000-square-metre facility at No. 1 Hard Technology Industrial Park in Baiyun District, Guangzhou.
The company relocated its manufacturing operations in June 2026 as part of a strategic capacity expansion. Following the move, Sprintpackage has increased its annual production capacity by two to three times, strengthening its ability to meet growing global demand for premium cardboard tubes across the food, cosmetics and health supplement sectors.
Automation Drives Higher Production
The new facility features six fully automated production lines, enabling Sprintpackage to carry out key manufacturing processes in-house, including tube winding, slitting, paper mounting, curling and final assembly.
Ahead of the facility’s launch, the company invested in new automatic tube winding machines, paper mounting equipment, rotary curling units and high-speed assembly systems.
With factory automation exceeding 80%, Sprintpackage can now manufacture between 200,000 and 300,000 paper tubes per day. The increased capacity is designed to support stable and faster supply for international customers, particularly across Europe and the Middle East.
More Than 10,000 Customers Worldwide
Sprintpackage produces a broad range of paper tube packaging solutions, including heavy-duty cardboard cylinder tubes and specialised cosmetic paper tubes for products such as lip balms.
According to Jack Wu, Founder and General Manager of Sprintpackage, the company’s growth has been built around product quality, competitive pricing and long-term customer relationships.
“We produce mid-to-high-end quality at mid-to-low prices,” Wu said, adding that the company focuses on building a strong internal team while maintaining transparent and sincere relationships with customers.
Since its establishment in 2014, Sprintpackage has developed business relationships with more than 10,000 customers globally.
Sprintpackage Targets Growing Sushi Packaging Demand
The company has also expanded into specialised applications, including sushi packaging. Following a surge in global demand in late 2025, Sprintpackage developed dedicated moulds for sushi paper tubes, positioning itself among the early manufacturers to offer purpose-built solutions for the segment.
The company now supplies these customised tubes to more than 500 international sushi chains and expects annual shipments of 10–15 million sushi tubes from the new facility.
The sushi packaging products hold EU EC1935/2004 food-contact certification and comply with the BRC Global Standard for Packaging, a standard recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
Dust-Free Manufacturing and International Certifications
Food-grade paper tube production is carried out in a dedicated dust-free workshop within the new facility. The manufacturing site is BRC-certified and operates under an ISO 9001 quality management system.
Sprintpackage has also secured or undergone audits for a range of international standards and certifications, including FSC, BSCI, EC1935/2004, SGS and FDA.
The company said its facility and packaging solutions also comply with relevant European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) requirements, reinforcing its focus on sustainable and compliant packaging solutions for international markets.
The expansion marks a significant step in Sprintpackage’s strategy to combine automation, sustainable materials, specialised packaging solutions and international quality standards to serve the growing global paper tube packaging market.
