PRINZHORN GROUP’s Dunapack Packaging enters into an agreement with Stora Enso to take over its German Packaging Plants
Dunapack Packaging, part of the Austrian Prinzhorn Group, has entered into an agreement with Stora Enso to take over its German corrugated packaging operations. The transaction comprises the companies Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim and PTI including its facilities in Southwestern Germany. With around 350 employees, a turnover of approximately 74 mio Euro was achieved in 2025. “The transaction marks a further important step in the growth strategy of Dunapack Packaging aiming to increase its geographical footprint and will additionally foster our paper integration rate within the Group”, comments Gerald Prinzhorn, CEO of Prinzhorn Group.

The transaction is subject to merger clearance with an expected closing in the course of 2026.
