Welch Packaging Group, Inc., a family-owned and operated manufacturer of custom corrugated packaging, has acquired SOKY Pack & Pallet, of Glasgow, Kentucky.
Located in the heart of south-central Kentucky, SOKY is a locally owned and operated business, with a deep commitment to taking care of customers with competitively priced products, as well as an unsurpassed level of quality, and service. Owners Wes Jolly and Jim Brinkerhoff have built an experienced and dedicated staff with a common desire to serve customers.
Jolly and Brinkerhoff will continue to lead SOKY with Welch Packaging. “We are delighted to expand our presence in this region and welcome Wes and Jim to our management team, along with the dedicated associates at SOKY,” stated Scott Welch, president and CEO of Welch Packaging.
“In addition to high-quality corrugated packaging, SOKY brings hardwood pallets and crates—including heat-treated pallets—along with various packaging supplies to the Welch portfolio.” Welch Packaging first entered the south-central Kentucky region with the acquisition of AtCorr Packaging in 2023. With operations in seven states in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Midsouth, this acquisition reinforces Welch’s commitment to serve new customers and provide a great associate experience.
