Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it has acquired 100% of the shares issued by Shibata Cardboard Co., Ltd., making it a Rengo subsidiary.
Shibata Cardboard is a corrugated box manufacturer established in 1962, and has built a customer base rooted in the local community in Toyohashi-shi, Aichi Prefecture.
In the future, Rengo will strengthen cooperation between Shibata Cardboard and plants directly managed by Rengo as well as Rengo Group companies, so as to further enhance the Group’s corrugated packaging business in eastern Aichi Prefecture and neighboring areas.
