Power Adhesives, a global leader in hot melt adhesives, has announced the appointment of a new Iberian distributor, specialty chemicals distributor, Viamonte.

Viamonte will now stock Power Adhesives’ core range including its Tecbond and bulk products, as well as the Knottec, Casttec, and Foundrytec advanced solutions. This includes the world’s first fully-certified biodegradable range of hot melt adhesives, available in both shaped and bulk formats, which Power Adhesives launched earlier this year.

The partnership comes quickly after the news that Power Adhesives announced Antala as its new UK distributor. The deal is also significant for Viamonte as it extends and complements its existing range of adhesives with its first-ever hot melt solutions.

Ian Lancey, Sales & Marketing Director at Power Adhesives, said: “We are excited to partner with Viamonte on this distribution agreement in Iberia. Viamonte is a well-known and respected brand in the region with over 40 years of experience offering technical advice and customer support.

This makes them a natural partner for us and allows a new audience to discover our advanced and more sustainability-focused adhesive technologies.” Alberto Gomez, Viamonte Adhesives Division, added: “Power Adhesives is a leader in hot melt adhesives and we are delighted to bring its solutions to our customers in the Iberian market.

This partnership enables us to expand our range and work closely with Power Adhesives to add value to our customers and help them achieve their performance and sustainability targets.”
