Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (PCS) has officially launched its new Entro series of digital cutting tables, specifically engineered for signmakers and packaging converters seeking a cost-effective, high-performance solution for low-volume production and prototyping.
The Entro lineup introduces two robust models – the Entro 20 and Entro 24 – designed for users who require dependable and easy-to-operate systems without the need for high-output machinery. Both models feature the latest iPC 3.1 software and are capable of cutting at speeds of up to 50 meters per minute.
With flexibility at its core, the Entro series supports a variety of materials — including vinyl, C-flute corrugated boards (up to 4mm), and even plywood. This allows users to select a machine that suits their operational needs while staying within a more accessible budget range.
The Entro 20, fitted with a preconfigured FlexiHead toolhead, is tailored for light-duty cutting and creasing tasks. Compact yet precise, it offers a reliable entry point for businesses venturing into digital cutting for signage and packaging applications.
Meanwhile, the Entro 24 ups the ante with advanced features such as a 1kW MultiCUT spindle, conveyor belt system for automated feeding, and a powerful 25L vacuum system, making it ideal for handling more rigid materials like corrugated plastic (up to 10mm), acrylic, and plywood. It’s designed for businesses looking to scale up production or expand into more demanding cutting applications.
David Preskett, VP EMEA & APAC at Kongsberg PCS, shared:
“With the Entro series, we’ve responded directly to customer demand for Kongsberg-level performance and reliability in a more compact format. The Entro 20 and 24 offer a durable, intuitive solution for light production environments, enabling businesses to unlock new creative and commercial opportunities without the need for large-scale investment.”
The Entro series marks a strategic addition to Kongsberg PCS’s portfolio, making high-quality digital cutting more accessible than ever for small and medium-sized businesses in the signage, graphics, and packaging sectors.
