New facility in Bytom to expand corrugated packaging production and create 70 jobs
Polish packaging manufacturer Grembox has announced plans to invest 110 million zloty (approximately €26 million) in a new corrugated cardboard packaging production facility in Bytom, Poland.
The plant, located within the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSSE), is expected to begin operations in mid-2027 and will supply corrugated packaging solutions to both domestic and international markets.
The investment is projected to create up to 70 new jobs and strengthen Grembox’s position in the corrugated packaging sector. The company expects the new site to become one of the largest corrugated cardboard packaging manufacturing centers in Poland.
According to Grembox, the Bytom location was selected due to its proximity to the company’s headquarters, the availability of land for future expansion, and strong road and rail connectivity, including access to the A1 motorway.
The new facility will feature highly automated production processes and digitally managed material-flow systems, enabling efficient and advanced corrugated packaging manufacturing.
