Flotech Jumai specializes in corrugated box machinery and providing turnkey solutions to corrugators looking to setup new plants or upgrade the existing setup.
Corrugman : What are your flagship corrugation products?
Randeep Sharma :
- Automatic Corrugation Lines (3/5/7‑ply): High speed Automatic Paperboard production lines going up to 250 Mtr. / min tuned for Indian paper and power conditions.
- High Speed Flexo Printing & Slotting (Upgradable to casemaker): Multi‑color options with production capacities of up to 350 pieces per minute with an option to upgrade with an inline folder gluer and bundling system making it a casemaker.
- Automatic Dry End Systems with Production Management System: High Speed Dry end systems for production line with automatic size change capabilities. The PMS uses the automatic size change capabilities to achieve zero downtime during order change which increases overall production efficiency.
- Automatic Folder, Gluers and stitching machines: High speed folding, gluing andstitching operations with gluing at and stitching at speeds of 70-80 pieces per minute.
- PMS (Production Management System) enablement: PMS enables plant‑wide monitoring, order tracking, downtime analytics enabling management to make better data driven decisions. Successfully deployed for clients like Akshaya Cartons (Bengaluru) and Global Ecopack (Vapi).

CM: Can you explain your approach to customization and OEM services?
RS : First, we understand the customer’s goals. At a bird’s‑eye level, we look at four things: the kinds of boxes they plan to make, the output they need, the floor space available and the location of the factory. We understand the challenges that the corrugator will face and recommend the solution accordingly. From there, we design a clean, practical layout that keeps material flowing smoothly, from paper to semi‑finished to finished goods. Each project caters to the some specific needs of the corrugator.
CM : How do you adapt your products for different global markets?
RS :
- Location & Climate: We adapt the machineries to local conditions.
- Paper realities: All machines are matched to local kraft GSM ranges and moisture profiles.
- Language & training: bilingual HMIs and on site training provided by our engineers to ensure smooth operations of the machines.
CM : What recent innovations have you introduced in corrugation?
RS :
- Production Management System (PMS): Real‑time order tracking, automatic size change at the dry end for near‑zero downtime durchange, downtime reason odes, and real time dashboards giving supervisors live status and management data‑driven insights.
- Automatic Glue Kitchen : Recipe‑based batching with automatic water and chemical dosing, inline mixing and circulation, and closed‑loop control of viscosity and temperature. Includes glue level interlocks, inbuilt storage for recipes and data logging that delivers consistent bonding, faster changeovers, and lower waste.
- Digital Printing Machine (Prototyping & Small Runs): Direct‑to‑board CMYK printing, instant artwork change with no plates or stereo requirement that is the machines.

CM : How are you supporting automation in Indian corrugated plants?
RS : Automation systems like the PMS allow our customers to reduce wastage and downtime which in turn increases productivity and efficiency. This directly impacts the cost of production which in turn increases profitability. With our in house team that can install, provide training and support to the local team, we hand hold the customer till they are not satisfied and ensure that installations are successfully implemented.
