Tri-Wall, a global leader in heavy-duty corrugated packaging, has taken a major step toward production modernization by integrating the Aopack BM3000-HD Heavy-Duty Box Making Machine across its operations in China, Europe, and the Middle East.

This move significantly enhances Tri-Wall’s ability to efficiently produce small-batch, multi-size boxes with greater precision and reduced costs.

Traditionally, heavy-duty corrugated box manufacturing involved multiple machines and a complex production line, including vertical cutting, slitting, creasing, slotting, crushing, and stitching. This approach was labor-intensive, time-consuming, and prone to inaccuracies—especially when producing custom or low-volume orders.

To overcome these challenges, Tri-Wall turned to Aopack’s BM3000-HD, an all-in-one solution that combines feeding, slotting, creasing, slitting, gluing, printing, and vibrating knife cutting into a single streamlined system. The machine handles 3-ply to 7-ply corrugated boards, from E-flute to AAA-flute, and allows rapid changeovers between box styles with precision and flexibility.

Key Benefits Realized by Tri-Wall:

  • 80% reduction in setup time

  • 50% labor cost savings

  • 30% increase in production speed

  • Improved product quality and consistency

Since 2024, Tri-Wall has installed four BM3000-HD machines: two in China, and one each in Europe and the Middle East. The success of these installations has reinforced Tri-Wall’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technology for its global operations.

With over 800 machines installed in more than 80 countries, Aopack continues to be a trusted partner for packaging manufacturers seeking automation, flexibility, and innovation. For Tri-Wall, this strategic investment marks a major step forward in redefining heavy-duty box production for the modern packaging era.
